TORU-ORUA COMMUNITY, SAFE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT FOR HENSARD UNIVERSITY STUDENTS, SAYS DPO, WARRI

The Nigerian Police Force has assured students of Hensard University that it will fight crime and maintain law and order in Toru-Orua community in collaboration with other security agencies and outfits in the community.


Mr. Augustine Warri, DPO Nigeria Police Command Toru-Orua Division said this in a parley with students of Hensard University.

 

 

Mr. Warri admonished the students to eschew cultism, drug abuse and other related vices stressing that anyone found wanting will be arrested and prosecuted.

 

He assured the students of topnotch security stating that Toru- Orua community has the relevant security apparatus to enable the security agencies discharge their duties effectively and maintain a safe environment for learning.

 

While he affirmed that Toru-Orua is a peaceful community, the DPO urged the students of the University to exploit the opportunities given them by the University and the security agencies by focusing on their studies in the bid to achieve academic excellence.
